Taylor. Ohio. Bisexual. Tumblr, tea, sims, Harry Potter, and music. Yes.
A few hours later, he left, and Emma and I went up to our room. I lived with them, because after the car crash that killed my Dad, I had no where else to go. I laid on my bed, and she laid on her identical bed across the room. “Well, he’s a jerk.” I said. “No, it’s just, you two are different. He likes rock, you like rap. He likes Hot Topic and Converse, you like Hollister and Aeropostale. He doesn’t mean any harm. That’s just how he is. Just give him a chance.” Emma said, clearly standing up for her best friend. “I don’t know. He didn’t seem to have an interest I me..” I stated. “Well, to bad! You guys are going bowling tomorrow night. He’ll be here to pick you up at 8:00. I planned it. I want you to get to know each other.” she smiled. “What?! Why would you plan something like that with out my permission?!” “Why is such a big deal? Yo-you don’t like him, do you?” she asked, looking paler than normal. “What?! No! Why would I? Not my type!” I lied. He totally was my type. He was so cute. Was I the only one who noticed how beautiful his smile was? When his hair falls in his face? When his dimples show and transforms that bad boy Dalton into a sweet, loving Dalton? “Okay, good. Because, I kind of developed feelings for him over the years..” she confessed, looking up at the ceiling. Oops.. I can’t like my cousin’s crush.. Sigh. Now what am I going to do? “Well, we should get some sleep.” Emma said, turning of the lights. “Yeah, I guess.” I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
I looked up at myself in the mirror, and sighed. I was so disgusted with what I saw. What was wrong with me lately? I had to pull myself together, and stop crying. I didn’t want to look pathetic meeting my cousin Emma’s best friend for the first time. I pulled out some concealer and powder and covered the huge bruise on the side of my face, dried up my tears, and put in some eye-drops in to clear my eyes, so it didn’t look like I had been crying, and walked out into the living room. “You look better.” Emma said, giving my a fake smile. “Don’t talk about it, or I might cry again, okay?” I said, fanning my eyes to make the tears go away. “Look, Taylor, when are you going to learn not to let people hurt you! Especially your boyfriend! He is supposed to love you! Not beat you!” “Emma, STOP!” She was about to say something else when there was a knock on the door. “You should get that.” I said, plopping down on the couch. In walked a tall, skinny blonde boy. He had on a Green day shirt, gray skinny jeans, and black Converse. And he was wearing eye-liner. Don’t only girls wear eye-liner? “Hi, I’m Taylor.” I said, holding my hand out. He completely ignored my offer and sat down on the chair next to the couch. “Dalton.” he murmured. “Well, your best friend is a keeper!” I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes. He laughed and said, “I’m still here, you know?” “Yeah, I know. That’s the point.” I said. “Well, seems like you two are hitting it off just fine.” Emma laughed, and sat down next to me on the couch.
